Lincoln Funeral Train

150 years ago a train carrying the coffin of assassinated President Abraham Lincoln traveled across the country from Washington D.C. to Springfield, Illinois. The train traveled through 180 cities and seven states on its way to Lincoln’s home state. In 1911, a prairie fire near Minneapolis, Minnesota destroyed the original train car that had so famously carried the 16th President to his final resting place.

On September 10th - 13th, 2015, 150 years after President Lincoln’s final journey, a full-scale replica of the Lincoln Funeral Train visited downtown Troy, Ohio.

I served as the lead Graphic Designer for the Lincoln Funeral Train exhibit creating all print and digital files, including the rack card and tickets shown.
